Legal Sector

Legal Sector monitors Agency’s business activities, in order to keep them within the framework of its registered activities.

Daily performance of this sector includes general activities and staff related issues, defending/representing Agency’s interests in the courts and in front of other government bodies, as well as providing support to other sectors at request.

Significant attention has been given to the legal part of their working scope, in particular in the area of Contract and Obligation Act, as well as to presenting Agency’s position in respect of litigations, enforcement measures, bankruptcy and other legal proceedings in the country and abroad.

In order to deal properly with above mentioned tasks, i.e. to provide legal consulting, this sector closely cooperates with Deposit Insurance Sector and Asset Management Sector.

This sector is also in charge of coordination and preliminary preparations for the Agency’s Board meetings. It provides required information during decision making process, looking after decisions to be implemented in due course.
